I'm trying to fly my P4 around my home for some practice and familiarity. I've been flying successfully for several days after I first purchased it at my home and now I'm getting a "Can't fly in a no fly zone" error. I live about 5 miles where there was a fire on a mountain side but that fire has been out for over a week now. There is no plane traffic or other air craft traffic there and no personnel on the ground. How long before that NFZ is lifted and how do you get the NFZ removed.

Once DJI has loaded a nfz into your software, it will probably stay there until you do another update or "register" again to load a new set. Remember, NFZs only exist in the mind of DJI, no such thing in the FAA designations. The FAA issues TFRs to cover thing like wildfires which are routinely updated/cancelled as required. Illustrates part of the problem with DJI issued NFZs, they don't take into account things like activity schedules for stadiums or other sporting venues, just blanket no-flys.
