I'm curious as to your thoughts on the two options for Failsafe Mode. I've always had mine set to the standard "Return home and land" option. However, I'm wondering whether there might be an advantage to using the Landing Only mode in the event of a flyaway situation. It would seem that if for whatever reason you don't get a good Home Lock, or if the Home Location is somehow corrupted in GPS, then "Landing Only" mode might enable you to override GPS input and just bring the bird down.

Of course, this assumes that you're over a safe landing zone, but I digress.

    Thoughts?

How often is there a safe landing area though?
It might be better than disappearing altogether, but returning to where you are - with good likelihood of being able to regain control and land normally must be the best option.

Yes, I agree with you there. I was thinking, however, that if RTH is initiated during a flyaway situation, "home" might not be where you think it is, in which case landing would possibly be preferred.
