Pretty nuts. Really disappointed that there isn't any video of the drone actually meeting its fate in the lava.

But what really caught my attention was the fact that the pilots had removed the landing gear completely from the P2V. Take a look 30 Seconds in. Has anyone done this? Where is the compass relocated to?

Why bother with a compass? Good question though, made me think.
I wonder what else they stripped off the bird.
