This is a general flight thing that may affect all Phantoms 1 through 3 but I was practising a left or right pitch and climb last weekend and noticed the Phantom drifting considerably backwards while performing a climb and a left or right pitch. So for example, align the Phantom with a straight road with the camera facing the road. Slowly move left or right along the road while climbing at the same time. I have found that it drifts quite far backwards away from the road.
Has anyone experienced this and am I asking too much of the flight controller to keep it on one axis while performing this?
I tried it again last night and replayed the flight in the pilot app to ensure I was careful with the sticks, the one way I could ensure it followed the line was to apply some forward pitch and even then it was a game keeping it aligned while moving left or right while climbing.
