P4 Firmware Does not connect

Hi guys.I just got my Phantom 4 Pro plus and I can't get it to work. The remote and drone link up up and I can see what the camera sees but I'm getting no info from the bird. No battery status no GPS info I can't set the maximum height nor can I switch between sport mode or att. What's the problem? I downloaded dji assist and loaded the latest firmware and still nothing. Please can someone help.

Did you update the firmware on the remote controller too? The firmware needs to be updated separately.
