I had a crash as a result of a malfunction. DJI quickly repaired my P3A and sent it back. The drone will not connect to my remote control. I can open the App just fine, but the app/remote control doesn't seem to connect to my Phantom 3. Any advice?

Try re-linking the remote controller. See the "Linking the Remote Controller" section of the Phantom manual.
Yupp... you always need to rebind to your bird after repairs to just one or the other... they had to bind to something else to test.
