DJI Phantom 4K cameras

Hey all!

I'm looking to see if anyone knows if there is a difference between the Phantom 3 Professional camera and the Phantom 3 4K camera. I've seen replacement P3 4K cameras for cheaper but I can't figure out why. Example below:

Professional
DJI 4K Camera for Phantom 3 Professional Quadcopter CP.PT.000191

4K
DJI 4K Gimbal Camera for Phantom 3 4K Quadcopter CP.PT.000321

Any advice here would be great. The end game is buying up a busted P3A my buddy has and replacing the broken gimble and camera unit with a 4K camera and updating the firmware. Just looking to see what is possible. Thanks!

The P34K camera is only compatible with the P34K. You'll need either the 4K camera (from a P3P) or the HD camera (from a P3A).

I'm not sure why the P34K camera is not compatible. It definitely will not work on the P3A though.

The actual camera is probably the same. However, the circuit board inside the gimbal base housing is entirely different. The 4k is wifi and the Pro is Lightbridge.
