The user manual is confusing me.

2.1 Notes: (1) - Skip this chapter if you purchase the Phantom 2 version of the H3-3D gimbal, as it does not come with GCU

then it goes on to say a few lines later:

GCU can either be vertically or horizontally installed on the Phantom 2.

SOOOOOOO do i need to wire in another GCU or not?

On a P2 the answer is no. The GCU is on the Board.

B & H hopes to have them available as soon as next week but are not sure of the price.

Atlanta Hobby has their price at $489 but will not have any for 2 weeks to a month.

There is some question as to if this works with NAZA-M or what comes in Phantom 2.

Anyone see a problem with drilling/cutting out a hole in the original Phantom 2 to accomodate the 3rd axis gimbal? It appears the newest P2 has just such a hole cut in the bottom of it. Just wondering if using the adapter placed the camera too low?
