DJI camera front cap removal technique?

Maybe I'm being too careful, but the front removable filter screw-cap is on there pretty tight.
Does anyone have a technique or tool that will assist me in removing the clear cap so that I can screw on filters?
Or should I just get the Vise-Grips and Channel Locks?

I used a small flat rubber band to get a good grip and twisted. No tool needed.

That's what I did, and don't squeeze too hard - the metal ring is thin and the threads will bind... try to grip it all the way around with all your fingers

It is not great strength grasshopper. It is even pressure all around.
It binds up when you use too much pressure. Rubber bands work great.
