Disconnected but no worries!

Flying about 1500 metres away and 120 metres up when I lost visuals and then the P4P became disconnected. Expected it to begin return to home. Nothing seemed to happen so I activated RTH on the controller. Except I was pushing the power button! Turned the controller off! Thought that it's all over. No more drone. Turned it back on. It connected. Visuals returned an I brought it home. Clever tech designers at DJI....

Like many, I've had those "I'm never gonna see my drone again" moments more than I can honestly remember. The one thing that I can always count on is RTH to bring it back, in spite of my errors. Clever technology, indeed.

Yep, RTH is independant of controller connection, so your baby always comes back. I've even canceled RTH, lost connection, and the drone still intitiated RTH.
(sorry for my spelling)
