How can I verify that my drone purchased today is a Phantom 4 Pro? The number in the battery casket is WM3301512. I have been googling and youtubing without success.

That model number suggests you've got a Phantom 4 rather than the Phantom 4 pro.
You can easily confirm by looking at the camera.
Here's the camera for the pro model (which has an adjustable aperture):

Google DJI serial decoder ,enter number and it tell you what it is ,for future reference if unsure

Does it have side sensors? No = not pro. Advance has pro camera but no side sensors either.

Another clue may be the amount you paid for what you have. 4pro will cost more than a P4.
The camera difference and the side sensors as mentioned above is the solid proof.
