Dear DJI, why limit the number of channels to scan?

Why should we need a 32 channel hack? Why wouldn't DJI simply include all available channels and scan them. Why the artificial limit?

The channel numbers are somewhat arbitrary.
There's no 'artificial limit'.
The so-called 'additional channels' reside in spectrum reserved for other uses.

DJI would not achieve FCC type acceptance for devices which do not comply with regulations.
