Hi Guys,

In this video tutorial, I explain the way D-Log works (and also log footage in general). Some of the topics include:

-What is Log Footage?
-How does Log Footage compare to a linear profile?
-What do you have to do in "Post" to correct the Log Footage
-Sample Footage
Hope you guys enjoy this!

It broadens your highlights and shadows and the midtones pay for it. In a high grade cinema camera with plenty of bandwidth this is a good solution. In the Phantom 4 Pro, you are better off using D-Cinelike. Usually, the midtones contains the important info on your subject, the subject you have exposed for.

What do you think about the truecolor profile? Out of all the profiles that I've seen offered, it looks the best by far. As far as color accuracy, saturation, & contrast goes.

Since I wrote that I have started using Truecolor exclusively :)

No doubt! I don't understand why it's not used more often. It's the closest to corrected footage you can get out of camera imo, you could even run it -1/-1 just to be safe.

I always shoot with -2 sharpness

Forgive my ignorance but what Go Ap version or Aircraft has TrueColor as an option?

Outstanding!! I'll be looking more into that right after work today.

THANK YOU!
