Let's have a little fun.

Post up your crash videos on this thread.

Rule:
No ridicule no matter how stupid the cause of crash is.

This is just for laughs and we might all learn something at the same time.

Anyone game ??

OK OK, I'll go first. Phantom 2 repaired and back in action. I think one of the motors just decide to call it quits.
It's amazing how close you were to saving it, so it seems

Yeah..actually when the motors sputtered at about 50 feet really broke the fall and made it stop flipping. I have another video to share, but someone else has to go now. :)

Unfortunately I have yet to crash my p3s, although I got close yesterday. *knocks on wood*

Huh? I went first and the other 39,000 members of this board went home?? I feel like I'm having one of those "go to junior high school naked" dreams!

Here are three of mine.

Phone cables were in the way.

Trees just love quads.

All of my "go to Junior High naked dreams" ended up with me starring in my own porno!

Drinking and droning....plain and simple!

Love the bit when the drone chops into the snow.
In every crash I had seen the bird was violently thrashing the ground after impact. I told myself if it ever happened to me I would perform a CSC before I hit the ground. Well that's what I did.... Then I thought, "what if I didn't do it!!!" So I did it again..that's what you see it the video. Then I had to do it again to shut it down for good.

Thats exactly what I did. CSC to shut it down, did it again, realised that If it shut down the first CSC it would have started again
when I did the second so did Another. Meanwhile the drone was chopping into the dirt.

Dji should make a message to tell us if the bird is shut down. Or make it automatically shut down if motors get obstructed for more than 4 seconds.

So where's that video hiding.

I kept trying to pull back watching your soccer shot headed straight to the woods.

The funny thing about that crash there was no damage whatsoever to it but it took some time to find it as it had traveled through that tree and landed in another 10 feet away.

Here it is, We have very poor internet plans in outback Australia so had to wait till the plan rolled over to upload.

Not sure why it crashed, it just kept flying sideways when I turned.
Broke gimble yaw arm and cable.

You think maybe that tree you hit had something to do with it. :)

LOL, yeah but I turned the quad a good 15-20 feet before the tree with right stick forward so it should have had plenty of time to fly away from the branch.

Instead it slew sideways as if right stick was at 2 oclock. I have done this same thing plenty of other times and it always follows its nose.

Bet the birds I was trying to film laughed....

Ouch! Good flying until that last tree. On my P2, I would have looked at my controller switches to see if I accidentally switched to ATTI mode

It was in P position. There was a really gusty wind struck up just before impact so not sure if this affected it
