Dji says if warranty expired then even if crash is their fault, I have to pay repair cost! Is that right?
Unless you have refresh. Yep. And do you know it was their fault?Dji says if warranty expired then even if crash is their fault, I have to pay repair cost! Is that right?
Make sure that you understand the terms on the warranty which typically will cover manufacturer's defects DURING the period of the warranty.Dji says if warranty expired then even if crash is their fault, I have to pay repair cost! Is that right?
True, but if the OP were truly interested in that the question would have been asked.Perhaps if you provide more detail and the flight log, we can help you understand what went wrong.
More importantly- make sure you understand your rights as a consumer. Manufacturer warranties can not operate to modify any statutory warrant that might apply. A good example is the reduced warranty period DJI might try to convince you applies to the camera. Nice try on that one. Who might think it’s reasonable the camera might have a shorter service life than the rest of the phantom.Make sure that you understand the terms on the warranty which typically will cover manufacturer's defects DURING the period of the warranty.
