Could use some help and answers please!

Hey guys!

I accidentally turned of my dji phantom 2 off in mid air but managed to turn it back on to make the impact less brutal. Still the crash did some damage and i dont know whats really broken. maybe if i mention the things i know, then someone else could tell me what else is broken.

*basically after crashing i turned it back on, but now one of the 4 propellers doesnt stay in idle mode, it starts of in full speed.
* one of the landing pads/legs are a little curved now, but that shouldnt do anything to the sensor on the leg, right? (im not sure what it is on the leg. sensor/gps/idk.)
*after removing the battery and connecting it again. the led now shows RED, GREEN and YELLOW. (AKA. sensor error?)
*the assistant software says the IMU initialization is failing, which i also dont know what is.
*tried to advance calibrate it, but its been doing it for 2 hours now and doesnt seem like its doing anything.


please if someone knows what im dealing with and hwo to fix it, please let me know!

Sorry to hear about your misfortune!
The sensor on the leg is the " COMPASS "
The " IMU " is "INERTIAL MEASUREMENT UNIT "
The IMU Takes readings from
1) accelerometer ( motion ( forward-reverse, up-down, and side-side )
2) Gyroscope ( spinning motion )
3) GPS ( where you are in magnetic earth )
The IMU takes these readings on ( 3 ) axis
( hence ) x, y, z axis, and creates an ACTUAL VALUE AVEREAGE
of these readings ( hence ) MOD OR ( MODUUS MEANING actual value )
Typically you hook phantom to assistant, take note of values ( MOD )
If any of these are WRONG, you do an IMU CAL.
Here is the breakdown:
Compass = ( 750-2250 )
Gyro = ( 0.0-1.5 )
Accelerometer = ( .98-1.02 )
If any #'s are wrong IMU calibration needed!

Typical procedure in case of crash
1) open phantom, inspect ALL connections
A) loose connections
B) broken solder joints
C) broken/damaged components
2) perform ADVANCED IMU calibration
3) perform Tx ( remote ) calibration
4) compass calibration

Keep phantom LEVEL AND STABLE ( side-side, front-back )
When doing IMU calibration ( no wobbling around, good and stable )
( wood table NOT METAL )
