Could I use the Phantom 3 Advanced motors for something else?

I've got an old Phantom 3 Advanced. The camera doesn't work, broken shell, landing gear, etc. I've got a Mavic Pro now so I don't care about the Phantom 3. However, I was wondering if it was possible to detach the 4 motors from the drone and perhaps using them elsewhere? Maybe create my own drone using the Phantom's motors? I doubt it's possible but if it is could someone tell me how.

They're a brushless motor so as long as you get the specs and match it to the right prop/ESC/battery then I can't see any problems?
