Compass issue

Anyone here know what that stuff is

It's just a dab of ordinary silicone rubber to hold the sensor in place.
When you had the initial problem, checking the compass data in the app would have shown zero for the compass data.
When you put your new compass in be very careful fitting the compass cable behind the lightbridge antenna where it clicks in.
I broke two and gave up trying to fit it.
I ended up running the compass cable on the outside and holding it with some mini cable ties.
I don't know how DJI ever fitted it originally.

I wonder if the acidic nature of standard slicone is a good idea on electronic components.
I've read other threads and posters use something they refer to as liquid electrical tape or something like that.
