Hello,

I took my UV filter off today and noticed a mark on the lens. I took the filter off very carefully so I am sure it wasn't made by me touching it! It looks like an oily fingerprint mark, so I wanted to try and clean it off. What do you recommend using for cleaning the lens? Searching the internet seems to suggest using lens paper, microfibre cloths, or "lens pens". These seem suited to larger lenses on DSLRs and such, so I was wondering what everyone here was planning to use to clean their lenses

Thanks!

I'm worried about the cheap knockoffs that are all over Amazon
I've had no trouble with mine. Buy from a reputable seller -- like at my above link.

I wear glasses - as you can see from the left. I find the absolute best thing for cleaning my specs is a pair of socks! I'm sure I'll be slammed from all sides, but they're soft enough and get rid of all the gunk. Easy.

Connor, no offense but I don't see how you get your foot all the way up to your head in order to do this. It just does not seem practical.
