Hi, bought this drone for my kid. We were able to do the firmware update. Problem is when I turn on the remote and the drone, the camera shakes and makes a loud vibration noise that won't stop. I removed the protective shipping sleeve and the lens cap. Still vibrates with the loud noise. Any suggestions? The only thing we didn't do was attach the propellers because we were going to do the flight sim.

There is a very tiny screw on the backside of the gimbal that must be tightened... There are YouTube videos on this. Good luck

I believe there is also a little piece of styrofoam up by the camera. Check and see.

Thanks, found the screw and tightened it up. Works perfectly now.

Where abouts is the foam exactly? Mine's new today .

Seems to me when I got mine the was a white piece of Styrofoam about the camera. I could be wrong.

It is between the back edge of the gimbal base (square "box" above the camera) and the aircraft body.

No one has mentioned which MODEL of Phantom that you have.
From other threads, I've read that that the Phantom 3 Standard does not come with the foam.
Screw that requires tightening after first opening? That's a new one to me.
