I did the very same thing today.... its amazing what you can do with some cardboard and a craft knife.

Serious question, how tightly does the box fit around the tablet? I.E.: How do you make sure the tablet doesn't pop out of the box?

i just made sure the back was the same width as the phone vertically, the clamp presses on the phone on the bottom and the top of the sunshade on the top, holds it in just as well as if it was not there.
