change camera phantom vision 2 +

hey all,

i have the phantom vision 2 + and not really happy with the camera. can you suggest is it worth while changing the camera to a go pro or even if it is possible.

how much would you think it would cost

You should be able to remove the P2V+ gimbal and install a Zenmuse and a GoPro but you will lose the ability to use the Vision app. So no live video and no flight telemetry.
You'll basically be back to a standard Phantom 2 but with a 5.8GHz transmitter which will be a problem if you want to install a 5.8GHz FPV video transmitter.

See this thread for some possible info on getting the P2V+ wifi and telemetry working with a GoPro but for now it's not possible.
