Can't get connection to Phantom

tried to fly my quad the other day and it said I needed to upgrade my range extender. I pressed ok and now I can't connect to the Phantom. I have wifi signal from range extender and it goes to the camera but there is no video or telemetry. Just a message saying cannot connect to phantom. I tried to rebind the camera and do an update on the quad but nothing's worked. Any advice other than sending it off for repairs? Thanks
