I’m sorry for this post; I can’t find the thread where it’s discussed If someone can sell a photo, today, that was originally taken while flying as a hobbyist a few years ago (not even sure if p107 was around then).

Just one photo that was taken during a flight as a hobbyist? Sure, that wouldn't be a problem.

Before the Remote Pilot license that exists today, pilots needed to have an actual manned aircraft pilot license to fly for commercial purposes.

We had to have a Section 333 Exemption which mandated an actual Pilot's License and a Visual Observer for each flight to be legal.

Yes as long as the card carrying person is there and "could" take over control of the aircraft you can fly "under" my Part 107.

I don't think that exact scenario has been addressed but that's how we are able to train people who are flying "For Their Job".

I think it is addressed, and it's not so much a question of "your Part 107" - you simply enable the flight to be Part 107 compliant:

§107.12 Requirement for a remote pilot certificate with a small UAS rating.
(a) Except as provided in paragraph (c) of this section, no person may manipulate the flight controls of a small unmanned aircraft system unless:
(1) That person has a remote pilot certificate with a small UAS rating issued pursuant to subpart C of this part and satisfies the requirements of §107.65; or
(2) That person is under the direct supervision of a remote pilot in command and the remote pilot in command has the ability to immediately take direct control of the flight of the small unmanned aircraft.
If 107.12 (a) (1) is satisfied then the flight is compliant under Part 107 (subject to all other requirements) and so does not need to be recreational, i.e. it can be commercial in nature.

So would I be able to pimp myself out to unlicensed wedding photographers stand by them, then demand a cut of the action for not turning them over to the FAA if they don’t cooperate.
