Can I integrate IOSD?

I am trying to spec out my FPV setup.

I have the Phantom v1.1.1
Hero3 + Black
Zenmuse H3-2D
Upgrade board

To avoid added weight I am not getting the PMU V2.

Also is there any downside to pulling video via the USB port on the GoPro?

You can set it up that way. You need to expose a canbus port on your upgrade board (the iOSD gets telemetry data from it) using the Sarawuth mod. Once done, the iOSD's video in/out goes between the GoPro and the AVL58.
