Can I charge a P4 battery with a p4p charger?

I just bought a P4 battery which arrived to-day DOA!
It has been returned for a replacement.
I am assuming that I can use my existing P4P charger to safely charge it when it finally arrives.

But the more I think about it, the more I realise I should have checked first.
Could someone put me out of my misery, please?
Is it OK?
