All of the apps I have seen that provide ground control functions require that the front of the quad is pointed in the direction of travel; i.e. the camera always faces forward. Are there any apps that provide yaw control while the quad is running a programmed flight path? Example use case is running the perimeter of a building and keeping the camera pointed at the building. Another would be having the camera pointed at a cliff while the quad runs parallel to it.

There are a couple that advertize Point of interest cpapbilities in their dji apps on google play. None offer complete camera control.
I dont think any of the apps allow for complete independent control of camera.
You would need YAW from the craft even if it were possible... with the P2V, as there is no 3 axis gimbal for it yet.

Not sure which ones are compatible with P2V or V+.

Ultimate flight app i believe works with both models.

I bought Litchi for Android before they announced their POI solution. Disappointing that it is an extra cost. If camera orientation can be controlled with POI, there must be a way to provide it with GS flights.
