Is there a film over the lens on a new Phantom 4. Seems like I saw someone removing one but sure looks like just lens to me. Don't want to pick or prod for one if it doesn't exist.

Yes there is a thin dust / scratch protection film over the lens. If you have it, peel it off before using the camera.

It's easy to see if it's on there. Just pull the plastic tab to peel it off.

The protective lens film has an ear that protrudes for removal. If you don't see the cover it's probably not there.
