camera lens hood

Does anyone know of an easier way to get the hood off the lens? I tried last night and couldn't get it back off. Don't wanna twerk the camera and gimbal too much. TIA.

Try wrapping something rubber around it and turning it counter-clockwise using three fingers with as little pressure as possible.

I have used my prop removal tool, just remember not to squeeze down too hard or you will just bend the outer ring making it bind against the threads. Nice even pressure while twisting is the key, you might even make a mark on the UV filter so you can tell it is twisting.
