Camera isssues

I'm new, first post, first Quad.
I just got a P3 Standard on Letgo for $240.
The gimbal cam wobbles around and never auto sets.
I can see clear video on my phone but it's not operating properly.
The dude I purchased it from said it could be the ribbon cable, fwiw....
Does anyone have any solutions or tests I can do?
I'm a mechanic, so I hope it can be figured out with help from the pros !!! TIA

Whats the video look like from the SD card?
What are you using for Mobile Device?

I looked closely at the ribbon cable with a jewelers eye and found it to be torn at one of the connections. I ordered 3 new com cables on eebay for $27.90. They'll be here on Saturday. Update to follow
