I have never crashed nor even had a rough landing.
I live in Arizona and there is dirt everywhere. The camera feels like there is grit and does not rotate between looking down and looking forward smoothly, parallel to the pitch axis. I can move it by hand and it occasionally sticks at various points. I tried to blow computer cleaner, but that did not fix it. How can I disassemble and thoroughly clean and lube it?

Welcome to the Forum!
I think you should rename your title to something like "Camera Dissemble for Cleaning"
"Camera tilt" isn't going to catch the repair guys.

Might search for camera tare down, repair or dissemble while you wait.

If it isn't too complicated to explain i am always willing to learn. I tried to edit the post but couldn't edit the title, so I just created a new thread.

Does that work for you? :)

@LuvMyTJ

Now, were back to your problem.

The YouTube videos will be your best bet. To remove the camera you have to go inside how the camera housing. First remove the cable guard on the housing . There are two small screws holding it on . There are four screws which hold the back cover of the camera on. After you remove the four screws, the back cover will come off. Flip the lever up on the circuit board to remove the ribbon cable. That circuit board will come out but it's a little stiff because it's plugged into the lower circuit board. On the Tilt motor shaft there is one screw that holds the camera to the Tilt motor. That screw is underneath the ribbon cable that is wrapped around the shaft be careful in removing it. Make sure you replace the camera at the same exact position . The ribbon cable is glued to the housing on the camera. It's just a sticky glue and you can remove it and replace it with no problem. You may have to go into the Tilt motor shaft if there's any grit that got into it. And that is a lot more explaining and it is best to go to the YouTube videos. Good luck.
