Camera direction

Hi just reading through set up and was wondering is the camera and gimbal supposed to always face down. When I place it on a table the front of the camera almost touches the table surface. Also the gps strength, I have the number 8. Is it also supposed to change color?

GPS number will change, just watch for big green GPS at top of DJI GO app. On right side of DJI GO app 'slide' it to adjust camera or thumbwheel on left front of remote

My camera of the advanced ...on startup does the dance and then positioned face forward... Nice position to start..
