Buzzing grinding noise when looking straight forward

My gimbal seemingly works fine. The configured limits work fine and the tilt function from the 2.4GHZ controller work fine. But when the camera is looking straight forward (0 degrees) it makes a soft grinding noise. Tilting a few degrees up or down makes the noise go away...

Can this be eliminated ?

Also, in order to update the Gimbal firmware what software should I use ?

What should I connect ? (Phantom 2 or gimbal ?)

Mine does exactly the same. It works fine , the noise just doesn't seem to be right.
