Had a epic crash on the weekend flying at night. Clipped a tree bounced on the road, shot back up into the tree and proceeded to chop it up like a chainsaw, smashed into the power lines and came crashing back down.
The thing had a mind of its own once it crashed. Go pro is now chipped around the edges although the lens didn't get damaged THANK GOD!
Mounting bracket got bend and warped and lost some of the anti drop screws, had to replace the propellers. Oh and my gimbal is partially broken! It will still be level with a new bracket but the angle adjustment is seized. I can aim it at a certain angle so I can still film I just don't have the ability to adjust it mid air any more
Ah man..expensive hobby.. replacement mount is $90 and anti drop screws $50.. although I'm going to hold off on those and just use cable ties.. serves the same purpose. A new gimbal will have to come at a later date as that is going to cost me around $400
