Both my P3ps won't connect to aircraft after update

My Go app said to update the controller and it fails to connect to aircraft now.
I have two drone both p 3 pro and the same issue on both.
I reinstalled the aircraft update on both.
Tried to use a USB stick in the controller slot but it don't do anything.
Any tips?

My P3P's both needed to be relinked to the controllers following the latest firmware update. It's probably normal.

Just go into the controller menu in the go app and hit the link controller option. While it is active poke the pointy end of a pen, paper clip, the sim removal tool that came with your phone/iPad or whatever you have handy that fits into the hole next to the status light on the VPS unit of your AC and hold it untill the light flashes. Simple.

As noted by @With The Birds try to relink. Relinking is noted in the FW release notes for this latest update, but based on how many people have posted about connectivity issues after updating it appears that many people don't read the notes.

Also, updating the RC with a USB stick is a very outdated process not used since about Q3 of 2015. What versions of FW did you have on your AC and your RC before you started making changes? I'm asking in case you happen to have very old FW.
