Yes, I had the same BSOD issue with mine and replacing the wifi module did the trick. The new module has better cooling, but they covered the side holes with foil tape. I opened my new V3 module to apply waterproofing (I always fly over water) and didn't re-apply the foil tape. Every little air that can get in there the better. Ideally, a very small cooling fan mounted atop the module would be a great help, and not draw much current.
