Bird super slow

Descending is slow, flying forward is slow. It used to be much faster, but all these updates are making flying less fun and boring. Is there any way to speed this **** up without reverting to older versions of software/firmware?

Are you good with physics?
CSC motor shut off with gravity = 9.8ms squared. Then power it back on before splat time (No joke, I have heard ex RC plane flyers do this thinking it would glide like a plane).

It would fall like a brick no ?

Fly ATTI as i do, speeds today 24m/s.
When you do that keep a eye on the altitude, it lowers when going fast.
