Beginners Mode

Apologies in advance if this has been asked before.

I have Phantom 3 advanced, been out a few times in beginner mode no probs, however went out today and the Phantom would not start up in beginner mode ? I had to turn it off.

Can someone explain why this has happened ?

Did you have a good GPS signal? If not, the motors will not start when in Beginner Mode.

I'm presuming with the that you have and this is a common thing when the GPS signal is poor.

So with that in mind, if I start to fly without beginners mode on - can I switch it on once flying ?

Check out the GPS signal at the top of your image. Your Phantom was only connected to 5 satellites at the time.

Beginer mode also keeps range i think at 30mtr,,,i think it luck of the draw to,,some people no problems and some have nightmares
