Was flying in a huge dry wash near my house early this morning, and as I had the quad hovering about 50' above zeroing in on my landing spot I hear what sounds like a hundred quads coming up the wash behind me. Look over my shoulder to see a storm cloud of bees slowly moving over me. Immediately let off the sticks and hunkered under a big mesquite tree for what seemed forever, as they made their way down the riverbed. Came out of my bunker and made my landing with no ill-effects other than some bug smears on the props. Not ashamed to say I was a little scared, my car being a good 300 yards away...[emoji43]
