I was flying my phantom 4 pro Saturday brought it back in and noticed the battery was a little bit stuck pulled it out and found my battery had melted on one of the terminals has anyone else had this problem should I send it to DJI is it safe to fly

Anytime a connection has caused meting it is due to either over current beyond its rating or resistance due to a poor connection.
I cannot say from here that it is safe to fly since there is physical damage.

Any damaged battery is not safe to fly with. Out of curiosity how long was the flight? They do tend to get warm.

That's long enough to get pretty warm, but they should never get that hot.

I think you are asking if you should put in another battery and try it.

I put another battery in flew it. And everything was fine I’m just scared to fly and that happens to me again

I would be worried too. Did you fly it for the same amount of time, or longer? Maybe it was a bad battery.

Some one here will be able to help. At least it will still fly. I hope it is the battery..

I’ll be going out this Saturday and try again I have four more batteries

This happened me 2 days ago on my P4A on the battery's 30th flight. Did you send it back to DJI, or just continue flying with the second battery you have?
