Does battery power button always stay red and on when battery is on? When uploading assistant software to quad should controller be on? Obviously quad should be on, is battery low level return to home recommended? how about ioc?

Oh dear its Isle,

Yes battery light is red (small round push button)when battery is on.

No you dont need the controller on when updating software, only need it on when you are calibrating the RC unit

No do not have RTH on low battery activated, it caused myself an accident, however its your personal choice.

IOC is something you need to read up on and watch youtube videos (of which there are plenty) before using, its a good thing to have activated but you need to know what is what.
