Many times I will recharge batteries during the evening in anticipation of flying the next day at lunch or after work. With winter coming on its not always possible to fly the next day due to weather or wind.

What is the best way to discharge the batteries when you know they won't be used for upcoming flights in near future? I hate having them sit for a week charged, but don't wait to charge just before use.

Set them to start auto discharging after 2 days in the DJI GO app. The default setting is 10 days.

What about batteries that are not DJI?

This is a P3 forum. But, you should maintain your 3rd party P2V+ batteries per the manufacturer's recommendation.

I know that is a P3 forum, but since it was a battery discharging question it may go across models :)
Thank you for the answer, I'll head to the P2 forum.
