Batteries have different lights ?

Just wondered if anyone has noticed that battery lights are different, when I purchased my P4 I got the option with an extra battery, them two batteries have a dimmer uniform glow, the battery I got with with my P4P which is high capacity and an extra battery I purchased from Apple which is a normal capacity battery have really bright and have three distinct led lights

The battery with the brighter lights is the 2nd version of the P4 battery. Both are equal performance-wise.
