Im new to dji, so I dont know much about authorization zones. I currently live inside of one. I went on the dji geo website and unlocked my zone. However when i take my drone out to fly, it still wont let me takeoff. Any ideas on what I’m doing wrong??

May depend on airspace classification for the area. We would need to see the location data to check.

It appears you are just outside of Washington D.C. One of the worse areas to fly in the nation. Class B to the surface. I personally would not even try to fly there. You should be glad it didn't take off.

I live in the DC area. There is no flying within the DC FRZ. No drones at all. No chance of approval. You're going to have to drive at least 15 miles from Reagan National Airport. You should also take a look at NOTAM FDC 6/2069.
