App compatible with phantom 2 that allows settings manipulation via smart phone?

Hello, I have a Phantom 2 ver.1 (not Naza M) with h3-3d gimbal and a gopro cam. I have an Avl58, iOsd mini and a can bus. I've read few threads explaining that it's not possible to use NM app for drone settings manipulation via dji btu module. Is there ANY way with any smart phone app and any other btu module that these settings could be dealt via smart phone? Thanks.

The Phantom 2 was not designed to be use with wifi as both operate on the same frequency of 2.4GHz. The bluetooth (BTU) module by itself will not allow the use of a smartphone app either without installing a datalink for a ground station.
