AOPA article - Guessing when your drone will die

Im not sure I’m buying the 30 / 40 hour motor failure. Maybe on the Phantom 1 but I don’t know anything about them. My aircraft are new with about 10 hours on each but I’ll bet some of you have well over 40 hours on your motors. At least I **** sure hope so !! Guessing when your drone will die - AOPA

The only moving part is bearings.

I have 600 hrs on a CP-heli motor.

Something more than 25 hrs of actual flight time during a good solid 6 months of use and still going strong, although that pales in comparison to the amount of flight time others here have racked up.
