The best fix is to get rid of the plastic bracket by replacing the holder with the Inspire 1 holder (or P4 holder). See more details here.

If you want to save a few bucks, you could also just replace the bracket with the TACO-RC or Jrelics aluminum bracket.

Definitely looks like a worthwhile upgrade (the Inspire holder, that is).
