Yeah, so doesn't seem like there would be any way to get the lights to stay on by flashing the red LEDs :( oh well.

SO, my next question would be - does controlling it via bluetooth play well with droning? Specifically, when you get out of range and come back, does it reconnect automatically or is there a cumbersome process that wastes battery? Also, what's a typical range that it works well in?

Again, I'd be elated to be able to control the lights from anywhere that the RC gets a signal, but this would be better than nothing!!
 
Trying to figure out which headlight setup is best for me...anybody have experience with www.mydronelight.com? I was looking at this one in particular.

I am confused about lux vs. lumens since angle and distance are involved, but seems this might be a good mix of brightness, weight, and cost ($70). I asked if these are able to be angled down and he said they are. Thoughts?

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY !!! THEY ARE CROOKS!! and will not Honor their Warranty.....
 
What is the case made out of? I would hope out of metal to remove heat, something like magnesium.
