Hi, I have a Phantom 3 Professional, and live in Brisbane Australia. Previous to this I have had and still fly RC Helis of various sizes and configurations.
I have become quite annoyed by the fact that people here in Australia, seem to missing out on a lot of things that pertain to Phantom 3, and possible other similar models from DJI
So far I have spent $2300 Australian dollars on my P3P. Hell of a bad exchange rate at present, plus our Goods and Services tax of 10%. THat's just for the P3P, and 1 extra battery, that I had to wait 3 weeks for.
Problem is: Customers outside USA have to wait a lot longer for parts etc to be available to us. Our DJI Certified dealer here is so behind in getting things. It's not their fault, its the supply chain from DJI.

I have bought prop guards through DJI website a month ago and the online order still says pending, not shipped. I have tried to buy many other items through places on Amazon. NO good.
All the parts sellers there do not ship to Australia! Why NOT?
I am specifically looking to buy "Summitlink Quick Release Prop Guards". Can not find them anywhere that will send to Australia. I would perfer an Australian seller, but guess what, there is none.

Please understand I know there maybe others countries outside USA, that have also been waiting a long time.
Im just giving an Australian point of view.

I understand your pain. I'm from Geelong, Victoria and with a P3P. Just building spares and other items that aren't so readily available here. Still waiting for additional props ordered 6 weeks ago from US.

Hi,I'm from Brisbane area have you tried AlleRC in the U.S. I ordered a spare battery on Friday morning and received it Tues midday that's pretty good going I reckon and they are great to deal with. I have the Adv. and it was bought from them

Hi, I ordered and got my summit links from ebay.

If it doesn't open search for UCTOFPV. He's a seller somwhere down near miami. took about 2 -3 weeks to get to me, but I did pay for slow post, was crazy $$$ if i wanted it quickly.

Only got my second battery today from Sphere. They have been starting to get dribs and drabs in from other suppliers nothing much from DJI direct.

i got mine threw gerry gibbs camera warehouse, they got a shipment of batteries in last week not sure how many they have remaining, I'm Karratha north wa

Have you folks noticed a Moderator by the name of "Meta4"?

I'm thinking he hangs out in your part of the planet.

Welcome to the party folks. My signature has some helpful links.

Enjoy the show.

6 weeks waiting for my second battery from dji :(

God forbid if i needed any spare parts!

Love my ph3... got really great pics with it

I ended up paying a silly premium to get battery shipped from instore US.
It's in Chicago. Should be here early next week.
Also have a preorder at metrohobbies.com.au in Melbourne who are close to having stock.

I bought my P3A from Metro Hobbies in Box Hill last week and asked about spare batteries. They had none in stock and all previous ones had gone out with their pre-order sales.
They put me on the list for one when new stock arrives and the very next day they text me saying they have more in and are holding one for me.
Picked it up the next day.

I agree the parts are really hard to get in Australia. Once they are available you still have to wait so long :( and Phantom are costly too LOL.

I paid aus $ 1850 for my p3p from amazon.com - took about 7days to arrive. Looking at getting a couple of batteries & the hard shell back pack from Dji but 6 weeks delivery is taking the pish..

I got some quick release prop guards from the states to Melbourne.
Never used them, and unlikely to to be honest.

I'm just about to pick up my first spare battery from metrohobbies. Yay!
My other battery order just landed in Melbourne from the USA so they raced nicely.

I just had a couple more batteries turn up form DJI direct. I don't need all of them as this very second. Will sell some for a very good offer. Postage from QLD. Good old supply and demand rules. How bad do you need one?

Not that bad really - I'm gonna order the back pack soon from dji as well as a few batteries so they do free shipping over $430 aus.
I'm still getting to grips with flying fairly short distances at the moment.
But when the weather warms up here I will be out a lot.. I need a sun shade / anti glare stuff for my ipad mini2 as I can't make out the feed even in winter sun

The inspire clamp is on the list too & lanyard

For the US one with priority shipping... Way too much, close to 300.
The local one at metrohobbies is 205 I think.
Yep. I paid 205 for my 2nd battery from Metro Hobbies. Still exxy for a battery though, although I thought 45 was pricey too for my 1.1.1 phantom.....lol

Plenty of parts here in NZ boys. I bought my P3P from official Dealer in Christchurch.
We seemed to be among the first in the world.
We have another specialist shop in Auckland and aload of parts for Phantoms on our National online auction site Trademe.co.nz.
Maybe you should give NZ a try?
