I know and understand you are probably quite busy these days but can you give us an idea of your lag time between time of order and time of ship? All of us appreciate the love, care, and quality control you are putting into these antennas, and certainly would not want you to change anything in that regard, just a curiosity question and nothing more than that intended.

I am getting between 6 to 10 orderds every day, I can usually build 4-6 orders, so volume right now is a bit higher than building ability, but that said I only have 4-5 days lead time and some days I will get no orders and everything does even out at the end.

I am working on antennas 10 hours per day now, since I don't have big Real-Estate deals on the horizon for this month.

Those orders are a good thing .Glad to hear things are going good and who knows, if it keeps up maybe you can hire some young pups to help you out. Thanks for the update and all you are doing to help us pilots out.

ok ok i'm so exited, i just got my new antennas directly from Tony's (FPVLR) hands, i must say he's a really nice guy, he showed me his work place, machines and the process of how he built the antennas, he told me that he test each single antenna he makes not just like a random chinese manufacturer, so don't worry guys quality and performance with FPLVR antennas are guaranteed. said that, i continue with my experience with the new antennas, well i think a picture worth more than words :lol: oh just in case, i was standing in the same spot with both antennas (right under a power line outside my house) i must say too that between the P2V and me was another power line from the street lights and lots of wifi signals around. i took the same route in both tests. old antenna (TP-LINK TL-ANT2409A) new antenna (2.4 GHz LHCP Parasitic disk helix) P2V stock for now. results :

how did you attach those helix at your extender?

hello afif i was holding it with double face tape just for the test, i will use a gopro mount that i have or maybe just velcro.

I just tested the new 2.4 GHz LHCP Parasitic disk helix from FPVLR on my range extender and got 3,000 feet distance at 400 feet altitude with P2V pointed away and NO MODS to P2V! I didn't have time to test distance with P2V stock camera antennas sideways but I'm sure the distance would have been beyond RC.

Next I'll install some of Tony's LHCP pinwheels on the camera (since I'll be installing a gimbal soon) and see how much greater range I get!

Figured I'd start a thread with just results from different antennas and testing we have all done. My PV2 is stock no changes
I'll start with
5 dbi omni I was able to get to 1550ft
With 8 dbi omni I was able to get 1800ft
And with LHCP helical I have been to 3000ft
That is not the max of the helical as I'm still waiting for a wire and have to mod control side again
I will post my max range in a couple days when I get some things in the mail
So what kind of results are we all getting and with what antennas?

so was this done with 2 extenal antennas or just 1

i have a 9dbi antenna and 1 stock but im only getting 1200ft before connection is broken
dunno whats going on thought id get alot better fpv range than that

You should get more then 1200 ft you sure everything is hooked up right?

im charging the extender now

I was flying it in downtown inverness so a lot of wifi around me
How do you have the 9 panel mounted
You should get 1200 ft with the stock set up
You are aiming the face of the panel at the pv2 right?

Ok that is a linear antenna and need to be vertical to work best
Try a fully charged extender and pointing that 9 omni straight up to the sky

will open extender up and make sure the lead is connected to the board properly and not loose
and will try with antenna vertical

the antenna lead in the extender is fixed in securely
put the antenna in vertical position
fully charged the extender
still only getting 1300ft fpv range

got a tp link 8dbi omni coming tuesday

i will get that one from the site u linked me when i get paid next

the antenna i have is a no name brand so could that be the issue?
